These Terms govern your use of alpsbydesign.com, operated by Alps by Design, a Global Viewpoint brand (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Our content is planning help, not professional advice
Our guides, itineraries, comparisons, scores, and recommendations are editorial opinions to help you plan a trip. They are not professional travel, financial, legal, medical, or safety advice. Mountain travel carries inherent risks; you are responsible for your own decisions, fitness, safety, insurance, and compliance with local rules and conditions.
Accuracy & no warranties
We work hard to be accurate, but prices, schedules, opening times, availability, routes, and conditions change constantly and vary by source. The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify critical details — prices, reservations, transport, and trail or weather conditions — directly with the provider before you book or travel.

Intellectual property
The site’s content — text, design, data, graphics, and branding — is owned by Alps by Design / Global Viewpoint and protected by law. You may view it and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, use our content to train machine-learning models, or build a competing product without our written permission.
Email & subscriptions
By subscribing you agree to receive our emails; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every message. We may change or discontinue the newsletter at any time.
Digital products & purchases
If we offer paid products or services (such as planning kits), additional terms — including pricing, delivery, and our refund policy — will be presented at the point of purchase and handled by a third-party payment provider. Those terms supplement these.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alps by Design and Global Viewpoint will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of the site, the content, or any third-party service — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
