The unobstructed high-altitude view. Only Riffelalp truly delivers this: the whole mountain, edge to edge, from a shelf above the valley. It is the best view in Zermatt, full stop, and the trade is that you are up the mountain, not in the village.
The elevated terrace view. The Omnia, CERVO, and BEAUSiTE sit on rises just above the pedestrian center, so their terraces and upper rooms see the peak reliably while keeping the village a short walk or lift ride away. The best balance of view and access.
The upper-floor village view. The classic palaces, Mont Cervin Palace and the Zermatterhof, sit on the valley floor, so the Matterhorn comes only from their higher south-facing rooms and rooftop spaces. Book the view category by name, request a high floor, and confirm it in writing; the standard rooms face the street.
