- Dedicated ski-in. The Kempinski and The Chedi have direct ski-in access to their areas (Corviglia and the Gütsch gondola), the practical version most travelers actually want.
If a hotel elsewhere claims ski-in ski-out, confirm the exact access for your room and dates: in Switzerland's older resorts, "by the lift" often means a short walk, and the snow line moves through the season.
